Compounding
Artisans in Bright City and Jungle can help you to compound weapons. The compounding system offers a way to craft new weapons, armor, jewels and useful items. Different materials (including wood, lethal, metal, rope and other tooling packages) can be put together to make a brilliant and unique piece of gear. For successful compounding, you must pay.
All compounding is risky and may not be successful. Compounding specialists can let you know the success rates and possible product quality, classified into 5 grades: White, Blue, Green, Gold and Purple. The success rate can be enhanced by using additives. But remember, if the compounding fails you will risk losing all materials and money involved.
Refining
Weapon, armor and jewels can be upgraded to new levels through refining. Their attack power, Max attack, defense and random attributes will be subsequently improved. Artisans in Bright City and Jungle are skilled in refinement.
Rare alloys are required for refinement. A larger quantity of rare alloys will be used when refining high level items. But the chances of a successful refinement will be reduced as the number of rare alloys goes up. Even if refinement fails, the rare alloys will still be consumed and items may be degraded depending on their current level. After each refinement, items can be leveled up to a maximum of Level 9. Special attention must be paid when items are empowered to level 4, as they will be lost for any further refinement failure, so be careful.
Not just weapons, armor and jewels can be refined; materials applied to compounding will also be upgraded through refining. Just make sure sufficient compounding materials are used during refinement.

1. Players can refine or compound items from Artisans in Bright City and Jungle. Refining means manufacturing new items while Compounding means upgrading an item's attributes. Before you manufacture a suitable weapon, armor, or jewel, you should find out its name first according to its type or your race.
2. Once you have enough required materials, you can manufacture items. The better the materials you provide; the better the items you can obtain. Of course, manufacturing may also fail. You can use certain Additives to increase the manufacture success rate for a common item but not a super item. Artisans can help you manufacture both common and super items.
3. As well as manufacturing items for you, Artisans can also help you compound and upgrade items. However, you must have enough Rare Alloy. The highest level of item is 9. Pay attention! When you try to upgrade a level 4 item, you may lose it if compounding fails.
